MKN Property Group actively support the following local and national charities and local community groups


EIA – Educational Initiative for Africa – in conjunction with Concern, EIA funds the development and refurbishment of classrooms, wells and teacher training centres in Niger to provide a basic education to the youth of Niger. Since 2006 EIA has funded the development of 108 new classrooms incorporating 45 solar panels, 44 refurbished classrooms, 3 new teacher training centres, 25 wells and 208 latrines.

Community & Sports Centre in Petaule, Zambia – in 2008 MKN funded the development of a new community and sports centre in Petaule, Zambia. The project was undertook and co-ordinated by VSO Ireland an international development charity that works through volunteers.

St Vincent de Paul – MKN make annual donations to the St Vincent de Paul Society who provide a range of vital services to help tackle poverty in local communities.

Focus Ireland – MKN are proud to support Focus Ireland who work with people who are homeless or are at risk of losing their homes across Ireland.

Local Community Groups:

Battle of Clontarf Heritage Trail – MKN were proud to support a new Heritage Trail which formed part of the 2014 commerations of Brian Boru and the Battle of Clontarf. There are six panels telling the story of the events leading up to the battle and about the battle itself placed along the 3km of scenic walkway along Clontarf promenade.

The Seafield Singers – a local choir group who hold annual concerts to raise funds for local charities
